Bob Ragsdale

Lead Instructor

Bob has been a beekeeper for 12 years, and an LBA instructor for 6 years, and is passionate about spreading the work on good beekeeping practices. Bob's interest in beekeeping has led him to work with a number of hive styles, to include Top Bar and Slovenian.

Matt Gaillardetz

Adjunct Instructor
Matt is not only an instructor, but a former student of the Beginning Beekeeping Course, as well.  He participated in the 2007 class, and quickly became an integral member of Loudoun Beekeepers Association (LBA).  In addition to being an Instructor, he is an Advisor to the LBA Board, and is a past LBA President.  Matt is well known in the Loudoun County area for his local honey and bee production.

Todd Soos

Adjunct Instructor
Todd is also a former class participant and LBA past President, and took the LBA class in 2008. Todd supports the LBA as the Outreach and Education Coordinator, and has grown his apiaries to become a local honey and bee producer.

Bill Bundy

Course Advisor
Bill's history with bees and Loudoun Beekeepers Association (LBA) is long and storied.  He has been keeping bees for 30 years, and taught the Beginning Beekeeping Course for the last 17 years.  Bill's knowledge of bees is exceptionally vast, and he is a leading expert in beekeeping.  In addition, he is a past President of LBA, and also served a term as the Virginia State Beekeepers Association (VSBA) President.  Bill has been a major producer of local honey and bees for many years.
